THE PROBLEM WITH MALWARE AND WHO CREATES IT

I have been using a computer for at least 8 years now and have always been curious about different viruses and everyone has a different theory regarding this . It seems like porn and torrent sites are becoming notorious for this where I cant even go to this without receiving a pop- up a malware is on the webpage ... a common response is people are bored when they do this or hacking is the main cause behind it . Does it sound like the best way to keep it off the computer is use a good Internet security because this can be a problem sometimes . I currently use Kaspersky 2010 internet security and this is the trial version to see how it works out .

I don't think boredom is much of a factor in malware. Lately it seems like much of it is to create a botnet, basically using your computer resources for nefarious purposes.

I use AVG free and OpenDNS.org (as my DNS server), which warns me if a site is suspicious.

Also, it helps to avoid the digital ghetto.

I'm waiting for the day that an anti-virus company gets caught up in a scandal of making the malware themselves.
