How to get rid of a keystroke recorder

Long story short. My girl and I have split up. Now I found out she has a keystroke recorder that sends my every move on my PC to her email. Anyone know a way to delete/kill it??

assuming "it" is the keystroke recorder and not your ex, try norton utilities anti-virus - it consistenly ranks at or near the top on tests of virus/trojan /etc removal

Kaspersky will more than likely catch it and list it as an "unwanted" program. If you are savy it should be very easy to find with "Autoruns". Google it and download it from Microsoft.

Out of sheer curiosity, how do you know it's there?

That would seem to me as the kind of thing that wouldn't be noticeable unless:
A) The person tracking your stuff was making it blatantly obvious, or
B) An antivirus program told you it was there

In the case of A, threaten to report them to the authorities. Everything she gets into with your username / password (not to mention putting the keylogger there in the first place) is a separate federal felony offense.

In the case of B, use said antivirus program to remove it.
