Sexual Harrasment Claim

Hey guys,

I wasn't sure about where to post this, but I was hoping I could get some help from you guys, because it has been bothering me, and I want to help my friend out. I will try and give you as much details as I can, but I wasn't aloud to attend the trial (it was a school trial, not court)

My friend goes to a private grad school. About two years ago he hooked up with this girl, and I'll explain details later. This past fall, she made a report to the deans office claiming he sexually harassed her two years ago (some of her friends said her current boyfriend told her to). Anyway, he was given a trial about 2 months ago. Here are the facts:

- She gave him oral sex, claimed the harassment was he pushed her head down a coupe times.
- She was not intoxicated, told the committee she had a sip of a drink
- She, before he could climax and when the harassment was going on, went to get a condom - which she admitted.
- He was not intoxicated.
- after she got the condom, they didn't end up having sex, and he went home. they still talked after, just recognized that it was only a "hookup"
- the thing that bothers me is their were a couple professors on the committee that are feminists, and I know that because I know them. One of them asked him (my friend) "is it your impression that sex ends when the the guy climaxes?"

The verdict: Banned from campus, except to attend his classes, and they will mail him his degree next year, a year after he graduates. All I can say is, bullshit. This is the nicest guy I know, and these are all facts.

I told him that after this year - after he graduates, he should take it public because there is no way he could lose if the case was not held at a private institution. I just don't know if this is legal, and it is past his time that he had to appeal the case, he didn't because he just wanted to make sure he had his degree, he is the first one in his family to go to school, never mind grad school.

If they allow him to attend class and he passes the classes necessary for the degree, they can not hold back the paperwork. Tell him to get a lawyer and threaten to sue for damages caused by him not having the ability to get the proper job without the degree. I wopuld wait till after he does graduate though, otherwise they may just simply throw him out and not let allow him to pass. Feminists are absolute douchbags.

ya, I definitely would have handled it differently. I get pissed at him because he just took the charge and has to live way off campus, but I guess if you were the first when in your family to go to school, it might mean a little more than fighting and getting kicked out.

It is just upsetting, because even though I know women get sexual harassed everyday, there are many claims that are bogus but no matter how much evidence, the "victim" will always lose. I just broke up with my girlfriend who was a feminist, couldn't stand it anymore - seemed to me like it was just a way to justify being a bitch all the time.

I'm doing some research and hopefully I can get him to get a lawyer and go public with this, I don't think the school would stand a chance. Then again, I just don't know anymore because even with the facts a lot of people side with the women.

We all know there are legitimate cases out there, but it sure seems like a lot of women take advantage of the system. Nothing like being every bit as responsible for a situation as the guy, but then having numerous chances to turn around and lay blame........what a society we've created.

I truly feel for those that were legitimately harassed, or abused, but all the rest of those flirty classless women are giving them a bad name.

you know whats funy? after reading this and i have no affiliation to the guy or the girl but it seems like both were willing parties. and what was said in the hearing is fact and on the record. so its easy to say it was consentual. however.....the people passing judgement in this day and age and giving out the punnishment will not go against a girl who says she was abused/harrased. in fear the same woman will make a huge deal and make it all the worse. she would bring the hammer down on the council,the school,the guy accused everyone.they know the guy is not gonna do that. so honestly in this case, your boy had no chace of fighting it and was right to just say fuck it. he couldnt win. he wold have just made things worse for the school which its not thier fault things are the way they are in this day and age. i all for people geting what they deserve, but from the evidence here....he got a raw deal.

tell him to suck it up, pass his degree.....force paperwork as Kaiser stated...then tell the dude that his gf gives lousy head lol....thatl piss him off something fierce, then tell him she did it again while he was dating her adding reasonable doubt in his mind...itl fuck their relationship haha

Ya Lucian, the evidence completely shows that it was consensual. Another thing to note, which is pretty interesting, is the fact that if they really thought he was guilty, they would have kicked him out of school completely, no degree, and contacted law enforcement. The punishment they gave him was intended (I think) to make both parties satisfied so that no one would get so pissed as to make this public, but at the same time, look like they were doing something about it.

I can't even recount how many times a women has "harassed" me or done something I could call "sexual violence." I remember when my ex-girlfriend slapped me in the face, making a huge cut, because one of my friends said the word "fag" when we were walking down the street, and she thought i said it. I'm sure there are many others like me, and many others like my friend that get caught up in this bullshit because nothing. It's bullshit.

On a different note, I'll let him know to tell her boyfriend she sucks at head, that should get things heated haha.
