My Puppy just died.

I cannot watch that pet cops show...it drives me crazy how people can neglect their pets. If you cannot afford one, do not have one.

Very sorry to hear about your pup. When I was growing up my family included a whippet..small greyhound like dog..he died back in 1990 and I still think about him...I know I will see him again in Heaven.

i've had my pooch for 3 years and she is my shadow.. follows me everywhere. she even sleeps outside the shower and waits for me....

i get sad and miss her if she is gone for more then 2 days. which hasnt been but a few times for vet procedures

awwww that friggin sucks. im so sorry. i ost my first bully about 4 years ago. i miss him so much. he was my first dog. before him we had family dogs but he was mine. we have two now. bruno and nikko. they are my boys. each time i leave the house i tell them, "be good. dont get into any trouble. ill see you after work. i love you guys." just like they are children. to me they are.

I had a puppy I rescued in the desert (was a former neighbor's dog - who just moved away and abandoned it.)
It had heat exhaustion.
Ended up dying in my arms. So I know how you feel.

i am sorry bro...take your loss and empty space in your heart and rescue a dog from a shelter that will return the love and fill the space. So many wonderful animals out there need a loving home just as you provided for your dog.

Update. After our puppy died in an attempt to alleviate our grief we adopted to dogs from a local kill shelter. One is a Pitt/Boxer mix and the other is a Russian Wolf hound (we have no idea how such a rare dog ended up in the pound). Both dogs are just wonderful and from one death we were able to save two lives. I love our new dogs and I am glad we were able to turn such a terrible situation into something positive.
