Cant find the name for this.

Way back when, heading into college i was tested for learning disabilities. you know, some extra cash for school. anyway, i was diagnosed with a language based learning disability. The way it works is besicallly theres a huge gap between reading comprehension and my ability to re wright that information back down. so for most of my life ive had to talk out loud to myself while im writing or typing just so it comes out making any sence at all. The doctors said that just about everyone has some difference between the 2. but my reading comprehension was extremely high and the other extremely low. I cant find the name for this. anyone have a clue? I wanted to research it.

I asked a friend/specialist about this. She said it sounds like a form of dysgraphia.

You can better evaluate whether you think you fit the symptomology. She asked about your other motor skills, and if you had a similar disconnect with other motor skills, ie tying shoes, holding utensils, when you were young. I obviously couldn't answer that. It's basically just a disconnect between the brain and the actual act of writing it down. Being this went undiagnosed until college, I would guess you fall on the very slight end of the spectrum of severity, if it's even the correct diagnosis.
