I know just what you mean. I ended up missing the last two weeks, so I'm back at it today and it does feel good to be sore. kind of crazy!
Since I've been working out in Everlast's home gym, I don't miss going to the gym at all. The last time I went my ex bf was stalking me. I had to take a restraining order out on him. The day after our court date in which he didn't even show up for... sent his sister there to represent him (that's how crazy he is) he must have been waiting in the parking lot near my work. I left for the gym and he passes me and races me to the gym (btw he hadn't been a member there for years). Now the restraining order meant I couldn't go in, but there was a police shooting radar in the parking lot. I went inside to talk to management. They said that he would have to leave, so I waited outside in my car for him to leave. After he left I went in and start changing clothes, and the manager came to tell me that he was back. She asked him to leave but he refused. She went to the patrol officer and he escorted him off the property and explained to him that he could be arrested... etc. I guess I was so emotional and psychologically messed up that I shouldn't have tired to workout, but I did anyway and ended up pulling a muscle in my shoulder doing incline bench. Pissed me off! Took forever for it to heal. That wasn't a beginner story... but it does apply to the gym dramas that I don't miss at all.

LOL, stalkers. Aren't they pathetic? Wow that guy went to some extreme measures! You must have some good ass cooking skills! hrnygirl, I hear ya, I used to be embarassed at the gym, felt like everyone was watching me, like "that dude thinks he's tough" or "that dude doesn't know what he's doing", etc., and they were right. I came to the conclusion that people always will and do think things like that, so just accept it. I got an ipod and try to get into my own little world at the gym. Bodybuilding is not a team sport. It is you against your own willpower. Everytime you go to the gym, it adds up in the long run. Keep it up!
