Small victories

Ok, so I thought I'd share my little success. Yesterday morning I dropped one of my earrings down the drain on accident. I was so mad. I asked on a different board about needing a plumber, and the responses I got were that I could retieve it myself. So last night I went to Lowes and got a wrench and this morning I cleaned out all the crap that was under there and did it myself. I know this sounds so juvenile, but I was so happy I did it myself. I was actually mad at myself for thinking about calling a plumber because it was WAY easier than I thought. To top it off I found ANOTHER earring I lost a while back, I had no idea it fell down the drain.

I documented the process on my cell phone. I know nerd!

The set up:

Good!

I am impressed. I feel bad for laughing when you told me you were going to buy a wench and look for your lost earring.

No kidding...I could just picture water spraying everywhere! Glad I kept my mouth shut.

So was there a view of you showing your "plumbers bum" while you were bent over the pipe?

I think it's way too late for that. Growing up I had to chop wood, haul it in, clean the barn, fix fence, pick bales, feed cows...well, you get the point. It was a BIG deal when I got my nails done and got a pedicure for my first figure comp. (I'm a dork.)

I was a little nervous. One time I tried to change the spark plugs in my little pickup and ended up ripping the wires out. It was suppose to be easy!

Dad is admittedly "mechanically challenged"

The tool box and everything in it is mine!

I have power tools and know how to use them!

Dad is not going to like you telling that on him!
Way to go Lynx. Plumbing is easy. Water goes downhill. Easy.
Electric is different. Get a pro for that.
