Not Citizen-big problem
Hi guys
Thank you so much for your support. I need some help I had big problem with competing in national level. 3 weeks ago I was ready to do Jr USA.I was dreaming to do big show.wanted to do big show and like every other girl wanted to be PRO but..  (I have been in USA since 2004-5 years.I have green card,pay my bills,use the same gyms like you guys,eat the same food but I had problem with my citizenship I got my green card 2006.I am like you guys -just I can not vote.I can work any job position.When I come back from Europe I go to the citizen line at the airport ,because I am not noncitizen(all peopel with visa) I have green card but I have to wait 4 years and 8 months to be citizen(2 more years) So a week before Jr USA I got an e-mail from NPC that I am not allowed to compet because I am not citizen. Every national show now give at least one PRO card for female so I can not do a big show for the next 2 years. I have to do all of the small show which I do not mind,but I feel down. They told me that I am too hard for small show and need just a little bit to be close to the big stars. I am not so much motivate any more.I wanted to meet people,to make my name and be fitness model.All of this small show are not cover of any magazine or... how to push my self to go forward. just feel down. i do not think that is fair;green card and citizen-NOT fair thank you so much

Don't give up. You look great. I'm sure others will have practical advice from a professional/competitor's perspective but from a bodybuilders perspective just keep going. Your hard work pays off every day when you get out of bed.

3 words.....never give up!!! you remember these? be strong, and see what happens. sometimes things happen that we cant control. try and learn some kind of lesson from this. i have no idea what it can be but i know you....you will be back, and you wont give up.

Hi, sorry to hear about your problems there.
I'm having the same here in Europe! I was supposed to be able to get my green card (long term) this year and they changed the requirements! Now I have to stay 3 more years to get it. So it's foreigner VISA time again. I have a home here, a company and business license and can't get a green card, can't compete either. It's alright, Im not ready for competition anyway. We just need to hang in there! It'll be ok. Though not competing is hard, you can still be a fitness model with great success. Best of luck to you.

For whatever reason they have put the rules in place.... don't let that stop you. This is your dream, don't give up!!! You should keep going for your citizenship! Then everything else will fall into place. If you need some help or support just ask CSlim, she just got her citizenship.
