Discussing blast with Provider

Thinking about talking with my NP amount my intentions to blast test 500mg/week. Anyone have any experience with this? I’m not going to ask for a prescription as I’ve already obtained the additional test, just want to be honest about it for the bloodwork.

I wouldn't advise it. If you have a good situation, then dont risk it - they arent easy to find. Plus the only thing they can really do is have you do is check hemocrit levels more and tell you to take a baby aspirin every day.

It would be the rare Dr. that is educated about what larger doses of AS can actually do.

When will your blast be in relation to your last and next appointment? Depending on your timing they may never know.

I wouldn't tell them either. As long as your going into it healthy and going to stay on your labs, there's not much they could realistically do for you.

I wouldn’t take the risk of it getting noted in your records. Possibly denied for a claim later on. Not worth it.
