Me and the Mrs. (bb'ing & figure)

My wife competed in her first figure show on the weekend and we had some pics taken the day before. The one labeled w1 is of me, ww is my wife, and c is the two of us. I'm 8 weeks out from nationals in these and flatter than a pancake. I know there isn't the full compliment of the mandatories and quarter turns but I hope you guys will get enough of an idea to give some initial feedback. Once we get the rest of the pics back from the photographer I'll post some more so you guys can give a better assessment.

Both of you have to learn to pose properly as you both are doing yourselves a huge injustice with your posing.

For example, in your front double bi, your legs are the weakest bodypart. Yet you spread them open, so my eyes are immediately drawn to them and I notice their weakness straight away. Keep them together, so my eyes get drawn to your great arms and torso first.

Thanks Big A and I totally agree, as you can tell those are more of the "glamour" type of pics that we just did for ourselves. Usually I hit those shots with the heel of one foot touching the instep of the other but I've been trying out a couple of different foot positions for my front poses with either the feet slightly apart (8-10"), close together, and the standard heel/instep touching.

These are first thing in the morning after a carb up, feet on the front shot are a bit wide, and legs aren't fully flexed on rear shots.

Thanks again Big A. After this upcoming show I'll be taking a year or two off to bring up my legs and add thickness, I'm about 170 in those pics and I'll be competing at or just under 155.
