How does one become...

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question, but I was wondering how one becomes either an NPC or IFBB judge.

Contact your local NPC chapter and find out when the next Judging seminar is. After attending, you will need to test-judge two or three shows (your scoring will be examined to see if it is generally in line with the other judges) and then you start judging.

There can be some lee-way in this process sometimes for experienced and or accomplished competitors, if it is quite clear that you have the experience to judge properly. It's all up to who ever is running your local organization.

In the Northwest you will need to attend a judging clinic and test judge at least 5 shows and your score must be within 85% of the actual show outcome...Then it is up to the NPC State Chairman and Vice Chairman/Judging co-ordinator to certify you.
