How about a Featured Pet of the Month???

We have come this far that we might as well recognize members pets and I think it would be fun. Maby we dont have to vote on it but instead have someone resposible designated to feature a pet on a monthly basis. I dont think we would need to post its pic on the main page like our featured member. Instead just a continuing thread that updates every month with a new featured pet.

I have PM'd Big A with this idea and we will wait to see what he thinks. I also urge all of you to look at potential board sponsors here also. Pet products like accessories, foods, saddlery etc, would be a welcome addition here I am sure. Plus it will give the board broader scope for advertising as well. Of course this is all pending approval from the boss! I do see this growing and fast though. We all love our animals and there are a bunch of us here.

Nosmas, It looks like your idea has been met with favor from Big A. He is going to look into this and will let us know here. Great ideas for this forum. Keep them coming. I guess one thing we need to remember, it is our board and home to so many of us. If we do not keep promoting it and the great ideas here then what do we have? Exactly, just another BBing board.

Well there is no other board that compares to this one and we will keep it that way.

Oh I'm sure there would be a set critieria, but I can see this open to any pet, not just dogs! A pet is a pet. Not everyone owns a dog as we are seeing. So I would say it would be open. But yes a bio of the pet plus some antics, stories etc I would think would be part of the judging process. Again I am only guessing. Big A will get back to us on this. But it is a great idea and has potential for the board by way of sponsors. We have clothing sponsors for us, why not some pet accessories and or food stuffs, rewards, and of course we already have one fantastic member in support of this with Emeric and his company Pet Equinox. SO the ball is rolling. We just need to let the boss work out the details.

Hey even if you dog is ugly you know you love it. ALso, I have seen some ugly dogs, and if they were mine, I would love it just the same....well maybe
