Licker

Hi fellow pet owners,i have a female sheppard lab cross(my third daughter)
that is a chronic licker im talking pants,hands,face if you let her & not just myself, anybody she is a very friendly dog which i wouldnt have any other way.any help would be appreciated but from the research i have done i think i just have to put up with it

My mini-pit, Pepsi Jane, was a compulsive licker when I got her. She's the kind that would try to lick inside your mouth, and inside your nose to get your bugers. Very annoying.
It takes a while, but you just have to work with her. Sit down and wait for her to lick you. When she does, be firm but gentle and tell her no. Do several 5 - 10 minute sessions throughout the week and she should let up. Pepsi knows now that we don't like kisses all the time, just sometimes.
