B12 Shot for dogs

Has anyone heard of this? I own a english bull terrier and one of my friends who breeds pit bulls says he give his dogs b12 shot to increase their appetite?

I have 3 dogs, I'm 46 and have had multiple dogs since I was born. I have never had a dog that wasn't a complete glutton. P-I-G!!

this is actually pretty common and it's a behavioral action rather than any need for a certain amount of nutrients, etc. I suggest calling a behaviorist. This is a relatively easy habit to break them of, especially if they are young or puppies.

Go to your vet first. Animal medicine is basically the same as human. You don't want to just start injecting your animal with something unless the vet has given the go ahead.
