3 weeks out till the atlantic states for me...first show

I'm 3 weeks out from the atlantic states...it's my first NPC show...I know it's a big one but my thought about it is, "GO BIG OR GO HOME!"...I'm 5'9" on the dot...I'm weighing in at 212lbs, just did a test and drop some water to see how my body would look like...this is close to what I would look like the day of except of the addition of color and maybe another few pounds of water...I was wondering if you guys think I'm right on spot or not...In my head I want to loss even more fat so I can come in with the best conditioning there is, can't do anything with size now so why not get bone dry shredded...also which MM do you guys suit my structure better....thanks

you look good well balanched physique, few things i noticed in your side chest pose bring your elbow back more and bring your chest out a bit more. In your rear dbl bicep and rear lat spread flex your calf more to display that better. These are just things i noticed fast and im tired but im sure others will chime in good luck!
 
he's so damn close to light heavies!!! I just dont know if pushing for that class would flatten him too much.

iI think he would be hard to beat at light heavy! but be smart and just keep pushing and make "small" adjustments and see how the body responds. 3 weeks is plenty of time to play with. if he can hit the 198 mark for weigh-ins then carb up to a heavyweight weight then thats ideal.

most muscular one hand on thigh pose is best but curl your bicep up a lil more.

Agreed. Of course the scales usually weigh a little light too if luck is on your side.

Get your back up to par with the rest of you and i think you'll be on the national level soon.
 
If 212 is your dry weight after your test run w/ dropping water, then making 198 is probably not a good idea IMHO. Especially if you don't have the option of an early weigh-in.

14 pounds from where you're at now is a lot, and your fullness / roundness is one of your strong points... dropping too much weight could screw that up.

He's 210 on a trial water drop. If he could go for 1-2 lbs/wk weight loss it'd put him down around 204-205. When he does the real water drop he will probably take off an additional 3-4 lbs from that, putting him right at 200-201. This is just one of those cases I think he should make the sacrifice and try hitting 198 1/4, ESPECIALLY if he can weigh early.

That's by far your best most muscular pose. I agree that you should bring your elbow back more in the side chest. As far as dropping weight, I wouldn't do it. I know a few guys who did it last year to make a lower class and regret it so badly. They ended up flat and soft, depleted and feeling like hell. You look good at that weight.

In a national level show I would drop to the lightheavys but for Atlantic states show, just go in as a heavy and come in nice and full, but ripped...

thanks for all the input guys...I'll update on how I do as I go...My plan is just come in as shredded as I can be...paper thin look with the most full muscle bellies I can get...I will just close my eyes and step on the scale and where ever I fall into, that will be my class...note: I will be skiploading so I let you guys know how I do on that type on loading...did a test and loaded up 2,000 grams of carbs on saturday night through sunday. I just started to consume 90 grams of carbs a day because my doc said I'm too early and should maintain until a 2 weeks out...I'll be carb depleting from wednesday(may 27) to tuesday evening (june 2) then carb loading tuesday night into wednesday night...I'm aiming for 2,500grams of carbs....
