Does anyone know what the heck happened to this dude?

Not exactly a name you can pronounce or a physique you can forget.... but

Faramarz Aghazadeh was once a big time contender to turn pro.. I met him at the 05 USA where he placed 2nd and showed no signs of quitting but.. he just vanished off the face of the earth..

This Persian sensation surely was destined to turn pro..

He placed 4th, 3rd and 2nd at the USA .. vanished!

The guy came so close and was really impressive each outing.. He battled phill heath in 05 for the top spot.. He went on to the nationals and pulled out of the show.... the crazy thing is this.... If he competed again, he would have to go back and do a National qualifier again... Really weird that the guy would give up.. he was not that old either...

Just speculating but could it be health problems, which hits a lot of us in our community. To withdraw from the Nationals had to be something bad enough where he could not compete.

thats what i was hoping to hear.. I know hes a cool guy.. a family guy and .. good to hear he may be back in action soon. He was awesome there for a while.

You know.. you have a good point.. I know he was disapointed the times when i talked to him after the show.. His shape is very good and actually his condition on stage is really solid for a super heavy.. He was really a top contender but then just took this major break... I hope he comes back.

Amazing physique. Perfect proportions from top to bottom and front to back with just the right conditioning. I cant see a weekness at all.

That would be the ideal physique to me.
