I just read that WADA has listed some research peptides like Ipam, GHRP-2 and 6, and Sermorelin banned substances. Can they even test for this at this point?
From what I understand because the half lives of these PEPs are measured in minutes they are hard to detect. I think some aren't even excreted through urine. I looked into this because I get tested at work and use WADA standard tests. If you pin then get tested 10 minutes later well you might have a problem. Of course they banned in the sports world so they made the list but doesn't mean they are definitely testing for them. There is over 100 substances on that list. Do they really test for all of them?

From my unerstanding, they are very difficult to test for.. At best, they can monitor "markers"' over a period of time, and track a persons 'base' for determining hormone manipulation.. (if they have any effect at all)
We have a huge controversy going on in Australia at the moment with the AFL(Aussie Rules Football), where a particular club has self reported for using Peptides.. They are currently awaiting an investigative report from Wada and Asada to determine outcome and possible sanctions regarding their use/proof of use..
Thanks for the answers. This is interesting stuff to me. If the half life is that short it doesn't seem like it'll ever be possible to detect this stuff. As far as the long term testing goes I don't see any reason they'd catch anyone so long as they used the peps for the duration of the testing and kept their serum gh and igf levels elevated throughout.
