Issue with MOD-GRF Vial - Your Feedback

Hi bros,

I am a newbie here but I am a veteran in the game. This isn't necessarily a seductive thread (LOL) but here it goes. I had purchased some Mod-Grf from a source (not board sponsored), they came through just fine. Got the vial ready and prepped to administer the sub-q inject ( 0.1 cc) with a 29g slin pin. Injection went smoothly yet afterwards when I swirled the reconstituted vial around some more, I immediately noticed some metallic matter floating around, it appeared to resemble a very thin piece of the aluminum cover around the rubber stopper. I uncrimped the vial and then extracted the matter. It was verified that it was indeed a very thin small piece of aluminum. Naturally, I am growing concerned over the possibility of having injected foreign matter. Do you guys feel I should seek professional help ? Would there be any indication over symptoms that I would notice ? Or if I am ok?

Im a paramedic and trust me even if you injected some with the small amount of fluid injected its not enough to cause concern.

I can't imagine any way any hard material could get into that needle. Think about how small a 29g slin pin is.

i agree with the above guys. The diameter size of a 29G slin pin is about 0.33 mm (0.0129 in), as you can it is very very small.
