hCg Gone Bad

I've read hCG will last about 6-8 weeks in Bac Water. Also, that when it is bad it will turn cloudy. I used my hCG yesterday, and it gave me a large tender pink lump at the injection site. It is 9 weeks old,

I didn't want to just throw it out, thinking it may only get weaker with age but, do I assume bacteria has grown and is causing my problem?

hcg is good for a minimum of 8weeks after mixed. After that it doesnt go bad, it just slight degrades. And very slightly. HRT docs prescribe 10,000iu vials to patients and the avg dose is 500-1000iu per week so it def doesnt go bad that quick.

I get red lumps from it once in awhile...can't figure out why honestly...I'm shooting the same place (under skin around obliques)...

The redness disappears over 24 hours though...no big deal.

I switch mine after 13 weeks (3mths) and throw the rest as I get refills and it costs me next to nothing.

I guess once in a while people tend to get some sort of reaction from whatever they inject. Wouldn't worry about it.

I the product local (US/Canada) or from China? I guess maybe there is always that little chance that there could be some contaminants in it. If you continously get the redness, I would just toss it and get a new one.

Yes, it doesn't really go bad, just degrades slightly with time.

Thanks for the info.

I've been using this vial of hCG for 9 weeks now and this lump is the first reaction I've had.

Maybe I'll give it one more try; the vial is not quite empty yet.
