Ryan just set a new WR in the bench on Friday. Here is the video 1070lbs WR. Then went for 1100 but missied it. The video angle kinda sucks, but apparently the the 1070 was a good lift.

The man can bench some heavy weight but I gotta agree, never locked
out if anything he was losin it. Again not to take anything away from this
guy but I can't give credit to any lifts done with thoughs damn bench shirts
I would feel I accomplished more benching 500lbs without one then doing
750lbs with. Call me old school I guess.

I am training with Ryan on Sundays at the Lifequest in Kennewick, WA.
Last Sunday he had 1000lbs bar weight and 5 chains each side(200lbs) and did a three board lockout with it. That was truly impressive! I expect big things from him at Iowa in 4 weeks!

Wow..now that would be a hell of a lift. I think Mendy's record is 715 raw

I don't know what's more impressive 405 for 20 or 1000 plus for 1 rep..

Squat Question

Wow..now that would be a hell of a lift. I think Mendy's record is 715 raw

So that means the Bench Shirt adds 300pnds to his lift, wow.

What is the World Raw Record for Squat? Do the Squat Suits add 300pnds aswell or less?

I think this is why the Deadlift World Record impressed me more, no assistance.

I can understand if the gear was mainly for injury protection for shoulders/pecs etc but adding 300pnds is kinda mental. I like the IPF better where they can only wear single ply, no open backs, no velcrow etc.

talked with RYAN's buddy and he said Ryan has tore a pec and groin before. I am sure he has had his sprains and strains.
