Another one busted
Man arrested on steroids charge (wyldeone)
Police allege stockpile worth $250,000 to $350,000 BY SCOTT GUTIERREZ OLYMPIA -- An Olympia man faces drug charges after narcotics detectives found thousands of doses of steroids inside his home, authorities said Friday. Jeffrey S. Bell, 31, was arrested at his apartment on Donavan Loop, south of Olympia, on suspicion of unlawful possession of steroids with intent to deliver. He was booked at Thurston County Jail but posted $5,000 bail and was released. "Obviously this is the beginning of a big investigation if you've got this many doses," said Lt. Loreli Thompson of the Thurston County Narcotics Task Force. The investigation started with a tip to the drug task force. Steroids are illegal to possess without a prescription. Detectives searched Bell's home and found between 20,000 and 40,000 doses in both pill and liquid form, task force officials said. "There will be a little more investigation into where he is getting them," task force Sgt. Fred Bjornberg said. "We know he's distributing it." Detectives estimate the seizure totaled about $250,000 to $350,000 in street value, he said. Bell is a bodybuilder and helps prepare other bodybuilders for contests, Bjornberg said. The arrest Thursday coincides with a steroid scandal gripping Major League baseball. Earlier this year, Congress held a hearing on the prevalence of steroid use among professional baseball players and what the league was doing to regulate it. Then, last week, Baltimore Orioles slugger Rafael Palmeiro was suspended for 10 games after testing positive. Bell has drawn attention from the task force in the past for performance-enhancing drugs. In 2002, he was sentenced to five months of work release and 240 hours of community service after he entered an Alford plea in response to a charge of attempted possession of steroids with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of testosterone, court documents say. Under an Alford plea, a defendant doesn't admit guilt but concedes that a jury likely would have convicted him based on the evidence. The 2002 case started with a Drug Enforcement Administration investigation into packages containing cash that were sent to a mailbox belonging to Bell's fiancee. She told detectives that the couple owned an exercise video business and sometimes received cash through the mail, court documents say. Detectives obtained a search warrant for Bell's home in that investigation and found 33 pills that turned out to be methandrostenolone and a bottle full of liquid that authorities determined was testosterone, court documents say. As part of his probation in that case, the court ordered him to avoid bodybuilding competitions and personal training, court documents say. Much of Thursday's seizure came from a veterinarian supplier, Bjornberg said, adding that Bell was cooperative during the investigation. YOu know the judge is going to lecture him....and the funny thing is, the judge has no clue what he/she is talking about. BUt the sad thing is, he cannot say anything about it...he is well educated on the subject, but chatting to the judge about his knowledge could be worse.
Sorry bro...I am glad I never take the stuff...I just have a few buddies that tell me how it is. |

This is very disturbing....to say the least....
All I have to say is there is always someone willling to sell your ass down the river. This down right pisses me off. Now, lets see what if he was caught with 33 oxycontin and fifth of moon shine (home made off course) they wouldnt have don anything but maybe given him a fine for having a narcotic without a script. This is getting old real fast. Ok first I think on 911 and all the anthrax scares etc....and I thought there goes all the good guys getting quality stuff. Then I think aaahhhh we are no longer the main target. Wam now this baseball steroid scandal. What a friggin crock. I have no way to change the laws as we as a group are actually quite small but man I wish it was more mainstream so maybe we could do something about it. To me its like the law is "were going to tell you what you can, and cant put in your body". Pretty soon its going to be the same with supplements where hell you have to get a script or something because they want to keep you from "harm". Once again I say Bullshit. My fiance had breast augmentation (not of my choice beleive me) not rediculous size but next thing you know your going to have to have the governements approval to have this done. Sorry about the rant but man where does it end another good bro screwed for no reason.

Baseball..Football
All these sports are bringing MORE attention to a hot topic as it is...i think the days of helping others out is slowly coming to a close excpet to those who dare to risk it all...helping 6 or so friends is one thing but taking care of half the guys on boards is another...Some ppl may have to be happy making $2,000 a month and not $5,000
I heard nothing but good things about Wylde and i hope things turn out for the best for him anybody got advice for any of teh guys reading this who are in a small boat sailing the seas and selling to a few friends?... Who wants to get a real job and work like a average schmuck making $10/hr .. |

that's in-state college tuition kinda money... if someone is making that kind of money and they get caught, i really dont feel bad... (totally different if this person is making that from personal training which is legal... if they make that.. GREAT its one thing to get 5 or 6 bottles of test for your boys and charge them enough to get yourself a few bottles... thats one thing.. but but being a dealer.. they know the risks they're taking... as my roomie says during poker "gotta pay to play baby, gotta pay to play" sometimes you win (and bank your 2grand each month, but eventually, you're gonna loose) it comes down to greed. greed draws attention. whats wrong with a real job ? i make 7 bucks an hour, guess i'm straight up doo-doo? i work too hard for my money, but i show up on time every day. i come in on my off days when they ask me too. i dont call off sick. i go out of my way to help customers. i pay for all my supplements here (most employees help themselves). i'm worth more than 7/hr. i dont bitch about it. i live paycheck to paycheck. i get paid on fridays. by tuesday when all my bills are paid and i get groceries, i'm lucky to have 40 bucks left over. i'm not running around selling drugs because i can survive on 7/bucks an hour. if you cant survive on that, you have to change your lifestyle. i'd love to drive a brand new Chrysler 300. i'm not gonna sell $5000/month in juice to buy one. GREED gets peeps in trouble. GREED. helping your friends is not selling 2000 or 5000 grand... thats called dealing. dont take this the wrong way. i understand helping a friend or two out here and there. fine. but thousands of dollars a months??? shit, i could buy a new car and pay a mortgage and all i'd have to do is go the gym, socialize, surf the boards, and hit the post office weekly. i can quit working so damn hard. does that sound like the lifestyle of a dealer or someone who helps someone out??? think about it.... GREED... |

maybe i'm reading this wrong, but i re-read the thread and i take this as kinda insulting... like i'm stupid for working a legit job and struggling to get by. i'm the dummy cuz i dont make $2000/month from juice sales... maybe i'm just cranky cuz i was at work til 3am last night and had to be at my 2nd job at 8am... on leg day... if i misread it, sorry if i didnt misread it, how about you donate to the United Picko Fund.. i take paypal. you can sponsor my first show. |

hey Pickles calm down bro...ithink it was misread..i was just saying it in a joking way...i work for a living and i am a fulltime student so i know what you mean ...i was just saying for what it is the gov't makes it out to be a big deal...i think they are seeing the kinda of money they are not taxing and loosing ...like what does congress need to get involved in sports for anyway...protect my rights (not take them away), protect my freedom (not restrict it) and leave the steroids to ppl who know what they are what they do...
