What's your point posting this?

CG

What makes you think he is healthy? Just because he lost a lot of size? Sorry, but that doesn't make sense. :(

Exactly what I was going to post. I suppose Emeric will post how he always done low doses next. Healthy is the last thing I think of when it comes to Ronnie Coleman. His body is falling apart which is sad to see.

Coleman was smart enough to recognize what he had and pushed it to the limits in all aspects of BB. RC will go down as arguable the greatest of all time....having said that I agree with the post above unless you seen his medical record you have no idea what his health status is at this time.....

He is focusing on general health, (healthy blood pressure, cholesterol, healthy organ function.

No, I not going to say that, because his dose it was high.

He was the best in 1999.

Health is more important than being to muscular.

too bad for 20+ years he chose the latter......

i don't think HE actually made the decision to go "healthy"

it was probably more like "your going to die, if you don't
change something"....lol

im just happy he is still alive..

At one point I was very involved (helping) to be the highest paid bodybuilder.

Yes.

Read a recent article or interview with him where it was asked if he had any regrets given what his body is going through now. His answer was (paraphrasing), "yes, I would have gone for more than 2 reps on the video where I was squatting 800 lbs because I know I had more reps in me, but in my mind 2 was the number".

The man was a beast, arguably the GOAT and has no regrets I'm sure the last thing he wants is anyone's pitty.

Mad respect for the man.

X2 mate. I personally agree with u.

The thing is people will say oh Ronnie did what he had to be a successful mr O, greatest whatever. The measure of the success of a mr o cant be how many sandows he got in his home imo. It should be how many pieces one comes out from the other end of their career. This is of paramount importance & should also be factored in.

I mean take jay for eg I would like to believe jay has made more money from bb then ronnie and is healthier and fitter then him so he in my eyes is more successful.

Dorian is on record where he said he overdid in gym at times and it was NOT needed and that he could have looked the same without pushing his luck and risking damage. Ronnie is no exception. This very well applies to him as well.

The big issue with Ronnie was he chased strength & numbers like powerlifters do. Ask Mark 'smelly' Bell when u are chasing heavy numbers, heavy wt that's what u will eventually get. Mind can be turned into steel to withstand daily torture in the gym but unfortunately tendons, ligaments, cartilage, bones are NOT made of steel. They will wear out. I am not even 0.01 of Ronnie just your average joe but I regret whatever the damage i have done to my body and issues i have to deal with . I am only 35. Not worth it. I swear I am going to feel the aches and pains even more when i get older. I hope to improve my well being as I age. I am working on it.

Anyway people may disagree but I would like to say Jay & Dorian were more successful olympians then Ronnie factoring in how they come at the other end. Dorian had few injuries granted but nothing like Ronnie. He is fit and healthy today. Nothing major at all.

Also peeps please don't put an argument stating ronnie had more Mr O then these guys and he had a better back or bigger this or that ok.

We should not measure success only in that aspect . More importantly its how they come out at the other end after being tunnel vision for years in bb lifestyle of eating, sleeping, training and trying to win Mr O titles one after the other.

Just cause someone says " no regret" doesnt always mean they truly have no regret. But whatever it is he always has a smile on his face and not one pic where he looks down. He is always been positive and religious guy. Also has a cute looking wife.

Thats why naturals don't get nearly as much injuries. It is hard to overshoot your tendon/ligament/ core strength as a natural. Juiced up your muscles get strong the rest lags FARRR behind.

I have close friends that look worse off then him that never even came close to doing anything other than work in an office and party that look far worse than him...people act like this sport is so dangerous and it's prob safer than damn near any other sport that you can think of , Ronnies injuries are pretty normal for any of us that raced motocross and blew our hips out broke backs more than once just for a plastic trophy,to a killer mindset the human body is just a tool to get the kill,he seems to have no regrets so why does everyone worry so much?

A man measures his own success, some people live in a tunnel vision and never look out

Honestly, with everything he's gone through, he looks great. If anyone on here has had to go though extensive surgery or known another bodybuilder who has had to, you are well aware of how much you shrink up after your time under the knife. I would kill to look like this after all that work. Good for him.

This is true. I lost 50lbs within days of my hip replacement. That was back Feb 12th 2014 and still haven't recovered completely. What was upsetting is there were 80 year old men who actually walked out on there own the same day. I spent 6 days in the hospital in severe pain in bed. Doctor told me not all replacements go the same. Thin people with less muscle and fat do much better then larger guys. They recover faster too. Ron had two replacements and with his size can understand what hell he went threw....

Well of course if someone has deep seated regrets mentally/emotional level they can be hided. Like some celebrities are too insecure to admit their weakness out in the public.

Jat has said openly the only regret he has is he missed on family times/moments and he got bit teary and heart heavy when he spoke about it.

Dorian's is very much enjoying life with his sexy beast wifey. Making ££££ . Travelling etc. He has got Lewis his son supporting him in business who is also in very good shape. The little regret he said he had is he could have taken it easy in pre contest phase and not pushed the envelope so much ( I think he thinks with hindsight perhaps he could have avoided the injuries as his triceps tear happened pre contest). He said I was not going to build muscle anyway in that calorie deprived state so it was not needed) .

I was referring to the physical manifestation of issues arising from pro bb keeping in context of this thread as in health internally organs etc and MSK injuries etc.

We all know Jay still trains few times every week just not that heavy. He posts regular pics on social media. Does his cardio regularly. Dorian I know just opened his new gym in spain and trains with clients etc and keeps fit again he is not pushing anything heavy but they both are in good shape.

Jay or Dorian are not practically having every joint in their body fused together , driven around in wheelchair, walking on crutches and not being able to stand on their two feet. I do not mean no disrespect to Ronnie just a fact wat he is going through. I do wish him best of health etc. Its just painful to see him crippled like that. Its like how any of us would feel when shit like that happens to a elderly family member of ours.
