He is small but healthy.
What makes you think he is healthy? Just because he lost a lot of size?Sorry, but that doesn't make sense.

Exactly what I was going to post. I suppose Emeric will post how he always done low doses next. Healthy is the last thing I think of when it comes to Ronnie Coleman. His body is falling apart which is sad to see.
What's your point posting this?
CG
Coleman was smart enough to recognize what he had and pushed it to the limits in all aspects of BB. RC will go down as arguable the greatest of all time....having said that I agree with the post above unless you seen his medical record you have no idea what his health status is at this time.....

Health is more important than being to muscular.
he could not stand straight. Had to hold the cabinet for stability and balance. must be cos of the hip surgeries he have had recently. Best wishes to big Ron

too bad for 20+ years he chose the latter......
i don't think HE actually made the decision to go "healthy"
it was probably more like "your going to die, if you don't
change something"....lol
im just happy he is still alive..

He was the best in 1999.
X2 mate. I personally agree with u.
The thing is people will say oh Ronnie did what he had to be a successful mr O, greatest whatever. The measure of the success of a mr o cant be how many sandows he got in his home imo. It should be how many pieces one comes out from the other end of their career. This is of paramount importance & should also be factored in.
I mean take jay for eg I would like to believe jay has made more money from bb then ronnie and is healthier and fitter then him so he in my eyes is more successful.
Dorian is on record where he said he overdid in gym at times and it was NOT needed and that he could have looked the same without pushing his luck and risking damage. Ronnie is no exception. This very well applies to him as well.
The big issue with Ronnie was he chased strength & numbers like powerlifters do. Ask Mark 'smelly' Bell when u are chasing heavy numbers, heavy wt that's what u will eventually get. Mind can be turned into steel to withstand daily torture in the gym but unfortunately tendons, ligaments, cartilage, bones are NOT made of steel. They will wear out. I am not even 0.01 of Ronnie just your average joe but I regret whatever the damage i have done to my body and issues i have to deal with . I am only 35. Not worth it. I swear I am going to feel the aches and pains even more when i get older. I hope to improve my well being as I age. I am working on it.
Anyway people may disagree but I would like to say Jay & Dorian were more successful olympians then Ronnie factoring in how they come at the other end. Dorian had few injuries granted but nothing like Ronnie. He is fit and healthy today. Nothing major at all.
Also peeps please don't put an argument stating ronnie had more Mr O then these guys and he had a better back or bigger this or that ok.
We should not measure success only in that aspect . More importantly its how they come out at the other end after being tunnel vision for years in bb lifestyle of eating, sleeping, training and trying to win Mr O titles one after the other.
Read a recent article or interview with him where it was asked if he had any regrets given what his body is going through now. His answer was (paraphrasing), "yes, I would have gone for more than 2 reps on the video where I was squatting 800 lbs because I know I had more reps in me, but in my mind 2 was the number".
The man was a beast, arguably the GOAT and has no regrets I'm sure the last thing he wants is anyone's pitty.
Mad respect for the man.
A man measures his own success, some people live in a tunnel vision and never look outX2 mate. I personally agree with u.

Honestly, with everything he's gone through, he looks great. If anyone on here has had to go though extensive surgery or known another bodybuilder who has had to, you are well aware of how much you shrink up after your time under the knife. I would kill to look like this after all that work. Good for him.
Just cause someone says " no regret" doesnt always mean they truly have no regret. But whatever it is he always has a smile on his face and not one pic where he looks down. He is always been positive and religious guy. Also has a cute looking wife.
Thats why naturals don't get nearly as much injuries. It is hard to overshoot your tendon/ligament/ core strength as a natural. Juiced up your muscles get strong the rest lags FARRR behind.
