HEY GUYS I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU HAVE HEARD OF H.PYLORI OR HAVE HAD IT? I WAS FEELING SICK WITH REAL SHARP PAINS IN MY UPPER RIGHT ABDOMEN IT STAYED FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND A HALF THEN I WENT TO THE DR. FIRST THEY SAID IT WAS MY PANCREASE. THEN I DID A ULTRA SOUND AND EVERYTHING WAS OK BUT THE PAIN WAS STILL THERE SO DR RAN SOME MORE TESTS AND SAID THAT ITCAME BACK POSITIVE FOR H.PYLORI SO KNOW IM ON 8 PILLS A DAY OF ANTIBIOTCS AND ANACIDS FOR 14 DAYS . IVE BEEN ON THEM FOR 6 DAYS KNOW AND I STILL HAVE SOME STOMACHE PAIN BUT IT IS GETTING BETTER. I HAVE RESEARCHED IT ON THE WEB AND THE DOCTORS DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT OR HOW IT IT TRANSMITTED IT DOES SAY THAT IT CAUSES ULCERS AND THEN CAN LEAD TO STOMACH CANCER . ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS

Yes, an antibiotic or combination of antibiotics and an antacid (there are many combinations) are used as combination therapy for Helicobacter Pylori. Make certain you do exactly as directed by your doctor. You don't want stomach ulcers (or you want the ones you have to go away).

Tested positive for it (have reflux real bad) Dr. put me on thing called prev-pak. Sounds similiar to what you are on 8 pills a day for 2 weeks, anti biotics, prevcid, and some other crap. Cleaned me right up. Didn't have any burning sensations or bloated feelings for about a year.

HEY PUSHTOOTH I LOOKED AND THAT IS WHAT IM TAKING. HOW LONG AFTER TAKING THE ANTIBIOTICS DID IT TAKE FOR THE PAIN TO GO AWAY? IM ON MY 7 DAY AND STILL HAVE SOME PAIN.

WHERE DO YOU GET IT ? DO YOU HAVE TO GET IT FROM A DR

For me it was about a week after the final dose. I could drink beer and have no issues. Best thing to do is alter diet.

stay away from coffee, dark pop, alcohol, peppermint, anything spicey, etc....

it sucks but it is well worth it once your get it under control. You can eat those things within reason once your symptoms subside.

Hopefully you don't have ulcers already. That is the first key. My brothers and I all get checked for this from time to time. This is what caused my fathers stomach cancer and eventually his death. Stay on top of it bro and keep it in check.

IVE BEEN STRESSING OVER THE STOMACH CANCER THING. I HOPE MY MEDICINE TAKES CARE OF IT. IM GOING TO GET TESTED AGAIN IN A MONTH AND SEE IF I HAVE GOTTEN RID OF IT.. THANKS FOR THE HELP.
