When lifting THAN running when should you drink PWO shake?

When lifting and THAN running on the treamill, when should I drink my PWO shake? Should I drink my PWO shake
after lifting and than go run...or should after I get done lifting go run and THAN take my PWO shake?
 
go ahead but bring a friend with a camera, we want to see you puke.

actually I wouldn't run after a workout

I would get your post WO nutrition in directly after training, wait however it takes for it to settle then do you cardio. I don't like the Idea of training and cardio back to back with no meals in between.

I'd say if your goal is definition, you should just drink it after the run. If your goal is just endurance, then drink it after the weight workout. But yeah, give it time to settle or you'll puke.
 
If your worried about catabolism then sip on some branch chain aminos throughout your workout and cardio THEN have your shake.
 
I'd drink it before the workout, if nausea wasn't a problem. Or split before and after. Before a workout replenishes carbs faster, promotes blood flow to muscles and reduces an excessive stress response (both to cardio and weight training).
 
I would just take in some BCAAs post workout if goal is fat loss and muscle retention, then take in the standard shake with carbs and WPI afterwards. If muscle gain and minimal fat gain is goal, take in BCAAs, creatine, etc...with some waxy maise starch post, then do cardio (I personally would not run...) then take in shake.
 
take the square root of your bodyweight in lean mass, and use that as the x-coordinate on the cartesian plane, then take the cube root of the difference from your fasting blood sugar and total time under tension in bulgarian time units. do that 2 more times but instead of resting blood sugar do it based on 10min and 30min past 100g dextrose ingestion. Use those three points and run a regression analysis to find the best fitting parabola. Then choose the number on the x-axis which contains the number of carbs you will be consuming and find the coressponding time value, with zero being the beginning of the workout, where it will be optimal to drink your shake. then run around the gym clucking like a chicken and make sure to wear your weight belt on your head.

lol. i was just bored. I bet if this was copied and pasted to bodybuilding.com with some fake references, you'd see every kid in america with a calculator at the gym.

If it was me i would wait until after the cardio session cause I would hurl waxy maize all over the gym if I tried to run after drinking 75g of it...LOL
