What do you think is the main factor that hinders you from hitting your goals?

Lazyness.

just wait for mike to come on here and he'll say mcdonalds and sushi (he'll kick my ass for saying that)

Just an appetizer for him... :D

In the past it was my own laziness/lack of willpower that kept me from my goals. Since I've regrouped and refocused this year, this is no longer an issue and my short and long term goals seem within reach once again.

Well for me i would say that my job is very demanding. I do not have set hours. I can work 8-24 hours a day. I am a funeral director and that is just how it is. I try to work out at 600 pm, but half the time im staying late till say 9 or 10 and i have been up since 6am...so by the time i get home ..i am exhausted. I am currently selling my home, and going back to school. I need a career that is more predictable. I will go to nursing school, i hope, in the spring.

I think my genes are good, but not good enough to be where I want to be.
I also have not done a ton of gear, but I don't really want to...

Dam diet!

The only thing I believe that is keeping me from my goals (atleast in bodybuilding) is my diet. If I don't immediately have something healthy to eat around when I get those cravings, it's over, I will devour almost whatever food is around.
In life I believe that I have a tendancy to be lazy, I have a good job but I could defenitely be making more money. I just seem to be content, I wish I could take all the effort I put into lifting and transfer it into getting a better career.

yeah I am a Sushi addict and soooooo what :D:D:D:D

Lack of discipline due to too much work and lack of time to eat and train correctly!

And genetics probably because some guys hardly train, eat all sorts of crap and still get big and lean.

back to the subject : lazyness sometimes, getting upset cause I dont look like Jay Cutler yet can also make me lose it

OTHER

sometimes i get totally fucked with time. ill have to go 5 hrs without eating because i cant stop running around long enough to do anything more thn sip some water (thank god for LBA's). then other days ill be able to sit around, do paper work and eat my ass off. so on busy days at work ill end up cramming al of my food in at the end of the day between 8 pm and 1 am i amy eat 5 full meals depending on when i got to work. its a real pain in the balls.

I don't create goals I can't reach. Doing otherwise seems like it would just drive you nuts.

diet is probably the biggest thing for myself. staying consistent with it can be tough.

... like several of the others, DIET.

I can't seem to eat enough. My strength keeps climbing but my weight doesn't want to go up.

Happily New Years is coming and I can switch to leaning out for spring to get rid of the frustration of not being able to grow but I feel like I missed out on a good 5 pounds of growth this season.

Will power.

I'm a drunk. JK. I like to drink, and then i cheat when i'm drunk. So it is what it is.

INJURIES!!! and the depression caused by injuries leads to negative thinking leads to drinking and partying and such

my job

up to now its always been my job. Used to work in a business where i had crazy hours for many years. did weight lifting here and there as time allowed, mostly around 3am. A few years later i worked in construction. it was such hard work that i would come home and just pass out on my bed. Now i have a son who keeps me tied up and a girlfriend who doesnt want me to lift weights so i dont get to lift as frequently as a i want to. When i go to work out i tell her Im off to "work my abs and do some cardio" and then its okay.....  Plus I have a home gym now, so now i get to go much more often.

the other aspect is laziness :D sometimes i just cant get my ass of the couch when i get home or it gets too late with work/my girl/my son and then i say fuck it and eat ice cream.
