I have the heavy duty signed by himself wen i dod the hezvy duty course he teached me back in 1994, then i went back to him in 1996 and he teached me the heavy duty II, the greatest thing i have ever learned.

HIT is the best way to bodybuild!!!

He WAS extremely intelligent. He died in 2001 due to heart complications.

Btw Heinz: what do you think about you doing an entire Mentzer HIT contest prep. That might actually be an interesting idea commercially as well (since there still is a huge Mentzer following). I'm talking about doing the training his way, dieting using his 'a calorie is a calorie' approach with .36 gr protein per lb etc. Film the entire process into a dvd and title it 'an ode to Mentzer'. Would be original, no? (serious here, a little originality would go a far way)

I actually dont think he ever married and really only had his brother, Ray, who died a few days after Mike did. Thats a strange story right there.

I did it for 10 years in a row, using heavy duty I and 2 years using heavy duty concentration rutine, those were my best years so i went back in time with my new trainer who had the oportunity and great experience living in Venice for a year and training with MNike Mentzer and we agreed we had to combine techniques and we trained first for 8 weeks high volume, 16 sets, 15 reps per set and all partial reps and then when we switched to HIT my body made a dramatic change and got full and stronger adn start burning more fat adn started showing all the improvements you se from last year to today.

We have been talking about making a video but my trainer and i are so busy working the whole day and when we have time my wife is working as well, she is a trainer in the same gym but we already are figuring out to start recording since i going to keep in shape so we can show some muscle in the video. Hopefully we will for my prep for february.

I do love the training system though.
