Finasteride/Propecia with Deca/Tren

Question fellas...

If someone has been on finasteride/propecia at 1mg every other day for quite some time, should they discontinue use if they are going to be running deca/tren?

I have heard mixed opinions on this subject.

Thoughts?

I have heard a lot of opinons, but not a lot of science - or if presented, conflicting studies. Similar to tamox and 19-nors.

What I understand is that if you prevent nandrolone from converting via 5-alpha-reductase as it normally would it actually increases in androgenic strength.

IMO if you are on a lot of test at the same time the sum of the equation would be in your favor.

Anyone with more information, please correct me if I am wrong...

That is what I have read multiple times, and haven't read anything to the contrary. That being, deca/finasteride will promote hair loss, whereas test/deca/finasteride will help prevent it.

pretty sure finasteride will do nothing for tren hair loss. shouldnt be using finasteride with deca as it probably wont make your hair fall out in the first place.

finasteride in the test deca combo should work because it will block out the dht which is probably much much more androgenic than nandrolone.

not an expert on this. just thinking out loud.

finasteride def works great with test.

Ok thanks guys.

To clarify, the person will be increasing his normal HRT dose of test for the time that the nandrolone is added in. So there will be moderate amounts of test, moderately low dose of nandrolones.
ie.
test 600-800mg
deca 300-400mg

for a few months..

finasteride will work for that. i would see how that person fairs without it first though . then throw it in if you notice excessive shedding. i noticed less shedding after starting finasteride very quickly.
