Getting tired during Keto diet

I have been doing a keto type diet for a few weeks now. I feel great with no carbs and while in ketosis. My problem is that when I have a recarb meal, I get really tired and sleepy approx. 1 hour after I eat carbs.

I am just wondering if I am getting tired from an over production of insulin which is causing me to go hypo?!?!?

Is this normal? Does everyone experience this or is it just me.
 
Yes very normal. Im doing the same kind of diet. Every six days refeeding with two meal of sushi with 20-30 pieces of tuna sushi. I start seeing spots and almost feel high for a bit and i get real sleepy. I assume its due to the large influx of insulin after levels being so low
 
Just have your refeed days on a sunday or whatever day you dont have much planned so you can just rest after it. As long as your energy level throughout the rest of the week is high enough to keep you going.
 
Thanks. Yeah, energy is good during the week. No issues other than when I carb up. Good to know for future carb ups.
