What a shocking piece of news this is.

Kidney transplant? But how old was Luke?!?! Someone knows more about what happened? Did he talk openly about it while he was still alive?

In any case, may Luke rest in peace.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he said he was taking diuretics even in the off season so that's why he looked so freakishly hard year round. Man he was way to young. Sad.

I didn't know about the taking diuretics year round, that was probably not the best idea.

luke had admitted to using lasix and other such compounds all year round.. he had said before that is what they believed led to his issues.. i am sure other things did not help.. but apparently he had the transplant and the body rejected it.. he was not doing well and was rushed to the hospital where he passed.. the sad thing is he was doing well and feeling great he said on the dialysis..

Is there a lesson from this awful death? Sounds like he had a lot of people who cared about him. My sad thoughts are for them. Did he fail to monitor a blood test metric that we should know??? Did his Kidneys just acutely fail, or was it a chronic decline? Does anyone know? I dont.

Im happily surprised this doesnt happen more often.

RIP. Although many patients take Lasix year round for years and they are ok. The are monitored by a physician, not a BB guru.
