Bed Time Snack - Any Suggestions

I am looking for some ideas has a night time snack. Im trying to lose some body fat % and generally eat 6 meals a day.

I just cant seem to find anything that is appealing... other than fruit, but the carbs in fruit are bit more than i expected (57g in a banana)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A slow digesting protein shake continaing casein will be ideal for a pre bed time snack. Cottage cheese as mentioned be good.

Fruits will be a no no...

Why not try some sugar free jello and cottage cheese?
 
Definitely stay away from the fruits and dairy

Best thing to eat before bed is something high in protein... eggs, sliced turkey, chicken, fish, or a protein drink mixed with water.
 
I like almonds myself.
 
I find that if i do not have a few carbs in my last night snack, I end up waking up at 3:00 a.m. withm nothing else on my mind but food.. But you can def feel your metabolism buring with low fat jerky before bed... or a casein based protein shake in water..
 
a lite protein shake as it will put your body in an anabolic state before going to sleep which will be more beneficial unless oyou were asking about foods
 
If you've already had all your meals and need to eat something then go with

sugar free jello
those super low carb bagles(like 3carbs) or bread with fat free cheddar cheese slices
Or Bryers actually makes a double choc Light ice cream that only has like 3carbs and a few g fat per serving. It says no sugar added on the label

muscle milk... 3 scoops, 1 tablespoon of PB, 1 banana and 2 cups of 2% milk
i sleep like a deadman for 8 hrs
 
Whey/Casien shake - 2 scoops PB - 8oz skim milk/8oz water
 
i like lean ground turkey (4 oz) mixed with 8 or 9 egg whites (or whole eggs, depending on goal) mixed together in a pan and cooked. Add a couple strips of turkey bacon and i'm in heaven.
 
For me its an egg white omelet topped with a nice medium spicey salsa. No fat very few carbs and definately satisfies any cravings.
 
Bump the cottage cheese. 1cup= 22-28g of protien. I like the idea of the Sugar Free Jello, I'll have to replace the peaches with jello. I usually eat the 4% cottage cheese, the 0 or 1% taste like throw-up.
 
for just a snack at bedtime i mix a scoop a caisen and a scoop of whey and to spoon fuls of crunchy peanut butter and add a little water to get it to your desired thickness and eat away it taste really good to me. its called protien goo.

2 scoups whey protein, 28g all natural PB, small amount water= Protein pudding! Not sure why anyone would want to drink a protein drink and have the water filter to the bladder while you sleep. That gets me up in about 2 hrs if I do that so hence the pudding.

you must have alittle bladder . you only use maybe a 1/8 of a cup of water and the caisen and whey and pb. the guy wanted a snack to get hem by for the night . i dont always eat it at once . but it does not wake me uop in two hours . and if it did the bathroom is only 10 ft away . and back to sleep .
