Lobster sliders!(best cheat meal ever!)

2 8 oz raw lobster tails.
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1/2 cup milk(has to be whole milk)
1/4 - 1/2 lb Asiago cheese
black pepper
1 pack filoh dough
1 egg beaten
1 pack cherry tomatoes
1 pack turkey bacon
1 small red onion chopped.
1/4 cup dry white wine
take the meat out of the lobster tail whole.
slice the lobster into medallions( about 1/4 inch thick)
toss the obster medallions with alittle olvie oil(just enough to coat them so they dont stick to the grill)

in a sauce pan whisk the butter and flour together(med-low heat)
after its a paste, add the wine and the milk and bring it to a boil
once i boils turn it down to a simmer and add the asiago cheese(shread the cheese first)
add black pepper to the cheese sauce(you can add some shallots too but do it before you add the milk(just sautee them in butter or margerine first)
once it hase an even consistancy turn the heat to low and set it aside.
cook the turkey bacon in a pan with some olive oil and ste it aside to drain.
in that same pan put the red onions in and sautee(4 min) set aside.
your gonna want to chop the hell out of that bacon to make something like bacon bits.
add the bacon and onions to the cheese sauce.
grill your lobster medallions (1 min on each side)
take a piece of filoh dough and put the lobster medallion in the center.
slice a cherry tomato in half and put it on top of the lobster.
spoon some of that cheese sauce on top.
take that beaten egg and brush around the edges of the dough and fold the dough over the filling like your making alittle square bundle.
pre heat the over to 400
place these on a non stick baking sheet and into the oven for 10 min.

these go great with a really dry reisling, or even a wheat beer.
 
Now if I could just figure out a way to get my girl to cook them for me, lol. :rolleyes:
 
LOL trust me all of my recipes have been tested by me!!!!!lmao im a true fat kid at heart. but this is one of them thats really my own like the tuna tar tar one. cam up with it all my myself. Later on ill post a shrimp and King crab spring roll, and Kobe beef burgers with wasabi cream, frizzeled onions, and a ponzu dipping sauce for the baked sweet potatoe and garlic fries.(i think i ust found my niche on pro muscle...hahahaha

Yes, you are making a fine contribution. Thanks for all the recipes. When I get around to it I'm going to try them. Dang, I can't wait for that kobe burger recipe...wow thanks making me so hungry right now...this is the last time I eat a light lunch and read your post. :D
