Ok the biggest factor to the taste of this is preparation not the mixture of ingredients. This is pretty healthy over all, diet friendly oat meal that taste similar to a chocolate oatmeal fruit bar, or oat meal cookie doe! I have prepared oatmeal over 2,000 times I'm sure in my life over the last decade! this is the product of trial and error over that time.

Start by

Mixing in a bowl:
-1 egg white (or preferably equivalent amount egg beaters)
-1 scoop Whey protein (I use Low carb choc Isopure)
-1/2c oatmeal
-1/2 Tbsp Sugar free jelly ( I like apricot flavor)
-1 splenda
-Apple pie spice mixture (allspice, nutmeg & Cinnamon blend)
-1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
- pinch of baking soda
- 1 Tbsp Walden farms Zero calorie chocolate syrup (OPTIONAL)

Notice there is no water, it will mix fine with just egg and SF jelly, after its mixed well, microwave it for 45-50 seconds. The trick though is that you stop it every 8-9 seconds and take it out to stir. This way it gets hot, but doesn't bind together. If you let it go for more then 10 seconds it will turn into a very dry tasting solid that lacks flavor, so its key you stop it in intervals. After the 4th or 5th time taking it out of the microwave, mix it up and put the rest of the ingredients in:

-1/2c more of oatmeal
-1 Tbsp SF jelly
-1 more splenda (optional)

If its still too dry for you add a bit more SF jelly until it all mixes well. The texture is suppose to be very dry and clumpy, to me this taste better then some oat meal cookies. Give it a shot and tel me what you think, it will be hard to make regular oat meal again.
