Help with Veggies
Ok guys, all of you are nutritional guru's in your own right......I need some help getting the veggies down. I can't stand them! I literally gag on the third or fourth forkfull of spinach. asparagus makes me puke from the smell alone. brocolli I can do dosed in cheez, you get the point.
Obviously I need the fiber and nutrients they provide.....anyone got a brilliant idea on how I can get 'em down without it killing my appetite? recipes would be cool I was thinking about just buying low sodium V8 by the truck load.....or simply processing the hell out of 'em by myself. thanks guys |

I prefer spinach raw in a salad rather than cooked. Mixed with romaine, strawberries or apples, walnuts and a light dressing, and it's very edible.
Try stir fry for the other stuff like broccolli and asparagus, peppers, etc. cook the meat first, then add the veggies. You can season with a little low sodium soy sauce or toasted sesame oil. The trick here is to not let the veggies get mushy. Keep chowin'em down - they're good for you!
