WOW! That's high tech!.......lol

I learned how to cook rice WWII style...........

But I do love my rice cooker!

Why would anyone buy a rice cooker ?
It ts to damn easy to cook in a pot ?
Put it in a pot ,just enought water to cover it, add a couple of drops of olive oil if you like, bring to a boil , then put it on low with a lid ?
In fifteen min or less it is done.

One more tid bit .
Rice and lentils have the same cooking times.
(Unlike beans)
So ! Put some lentils in with the rice .
I like the yellow ones .

rice cookers are great, measure the rice, wash it and add the right amount of water and press the cook button. it also has a warmer button to keep it fresh for 2 or 3 days. i have one from Zojirushi, it's an asian company, great quality.
