why does this carb meal work better for me than Waxy PWO

so it looks like this cup quinoa (SP??) cup of mixed berries, 4 tablespoons of dextrose all mixed in together with 1 tbsp of honey MAN ITS SOOO GOOD and it makes my pump last longer than my 100gr waxy shake. Im guessin its because there are a spectrum of carb sources in it?? someone help shed some light as to why this is. ive been doing some research and its all i can come up with.
 
I have no idea...I'm the same way with red skin potatoes. I eat 400g of potatoes everyday and it makes me feel jacked all day. 20 minutes after eating them I can literally feel myself swell up and feel hard as nails...no water retention or crash. Just want to mention that I not using slin or any kind of glucose disposal agent...my body tolerates these and white rice very well.
 
because that wazy stuff is not all its cracked up to be..

super human radio had a show on it a few weeks ago, i think they were saying that plain white bread works better post work out...

i would stick with real food any day of the week
