DELTS FOR INJECTIONS

WHATS THE BEST PIN SIZE FOR DELT INJECTIONS ? WOULD 25G X 5/8 BE ALRIGHT TO USE? IVE ALWAYS DONE GLUTE AND THIGH SHOTS IN THE PAST BUT RECENTLY IVE BEEN DOIN EOD INJ.'S AND WELL IM GETTING PRETTY SORE

|--[\\\]>-------- How lean are you? if you are lean enough, then 5/8in would be enough, however why not just go 25g/ 1in, doesnt feel any dif. remember, you obviously want to go deep into the muscle.

25g 1" is probably the best, although I have used 23g 1" more often because that's what was on hand. The problem with that is more scar tissue, in the future I will stick with smaller guage on every thing besides glute.

Same here. I've used 23g 1in in the delts for years with no problems.

Just did a 23g / 1incher in the delts. No probs.

I have used 1.5 no prob as well. You can just go 2/3rds of the way in that way you don't need special darts for quads,glutes, and delts use 1.5 on all just don't go all the way in on delts

You can also cut enough of the plastic cap off with scissors to expose about 1" or desired length of needle, it give's it a better base against the skin, more surface area which is good if you have a case of shakes.
