A head like a walnut caused by anabolics?

My bald head slowly is turning into a walnut, a condition called "cutis verticis gyrata (CVG)" which is "a descriptive term used for a rare condition of the scalp manifesting as convoluted folds and furrows in a cerebriform pattern, which are caused by thickening of the skin."

This research shows ther might be a relation between CVG and the use of anabolic substances.

I have noticed the condition among several bodybuilders and strength athletes, so there might indeed be a relation.

Who is suffering from this condition as well? Did you notice that some substances aggravate the condition more than others? Is GH worse than AAS? It is irreversible but did you find a remedy to make it less noticeable (surgery?)?

wow i had never heard of that. its a cool looking disease... a quick search showed excess growth hormone(acromegaly) can cause it. have you taken growth hormone? do you have acromegaly?

There are many theories about what may cause it. According to the research I mentioned it can be caused by the intake of AAS as well.

I would like to hear anecdotal evidence here, as (beside that one research) there are no data about the relation between the intake of AAS and/or GH and CVG.

If I look at the men at my fathers and mothers side of the family I don't see none with the lineair folds like I have so my deduction is that it may be caused by my intake of GH and/or AAS. I don't have it as bad as the examples shown though...
