Gyno Surgery gone bad?

Sup guys, I just had gyno surgery 9 days ago. And all the surgeon did was remove the breast tissue. He did'nt actually tighten the skin or anything where the lump was. Now The area that the lump used to be is filled with FLUID and looks worse than it did with the gyno, will this go away or will i need another treatment?? thanks

Did you have drains in? This would allow the fluid to drain out for a couple days. Tightening of the skin is not normally done in gyno surgery. This is the reason they give you a compression vest to wear. Just remember you are probably still swollen from the surgery.

Nope did'nt have drains. I went to the Doc today to have it drained though. Luckily the site is still NUMB or else the 18 gauge needle he jabbed in my nipple might of hurt. However to my surprise he pulled out 28CC's of Seroma Fluid. Said I'd have to come back periodically because there was a chance it will com eback.d

It will tighten up, you are still recovering from surgery. Once the swelling goes down you will be fine.

very true but I am surprised the Dr. did have a drain tube to the site to wear for the week after surgery, I thought that was standard procedure.

The doc I went too was'nt a plastic Surgeon. He was a General Surgeon. All he did was remove the gland, he did'nt do any type of skin tightening or lipo unfortunately. But there are no more lumps luckily, after surgery he let me see them, the glands could of filled up half a GATORADE bottle.

Ok now since it is gone I have a question? If my estrogen levels rise to high can it come back?

no, those glands are now gone....no more gyno!

It can come back. It's rare but can happen.

Yeah Hematomas are pretty serious. luckily I just had a Seratoma. Which is just fluid and not blood. After they pulled out the 30 cc's of GOO it has'nt come back yet..
