Do bodybuilders BLING-BLING

Just curious on how much $$ the professional bodybuilders make. Lets say someone like Jay Cutler, Dexter Jackson or Rich Jones. How much would you say these guy make yearly?

Well I know DJ and yes he makes some flow. 3 years ago he was driving a 90's Honda Accord, now his wife drives a Lexus convertible and he drives the 7 series Beemer. Yes that is bling blinging in my book!

Hmm. I would say that bodybuilding is pretty damn low on the totem pole when talking about getting paid when compared to other pro sports atleast.

Jay doesn't make that competeting. He is into real estate too. And in Vegas is a big business right now.

Guest posing the top guys probably take in at least $5,000 per appearance, and most of them are booked pretty solid throughout the year. I have heard reports Ronnie asks for something like over $10,000 per guest pose. Who knows? But if they are guest posing half the year at 5k a pop thats a good sum of money. Then they get endorsements, prize money if their lucky enough.

i agree also but most people lack the understanding of if they are not "doing anything" it not a sport.

I know Zane back in the day was getting 3K for an appearance because he sent me a brochure. So I would think the guys now get at least 5K.

About 6 1/2 years, and I would gladly take an endorsement from Muscletech. $2-3K/month is a lot to poor guy.

I suppose its all relative to the demographic and to the lifestyle.

For example, here in NYC the average 1 bedroom condo is $ 1MM. Plan on having kids - add the cost of a 2 or 3 bedroom condo, private school (beginning with pre-school), a car (including insurance and parking), food, entertainment, MetroCard (to get to and from work), dry cleaning, etc.

Basically to live and work in NYC a married couple needs to make $250K just to get by. That's the price of living in a tiny condo in a so-so building. I'm sure the $250 buys an entirely different lifestyle in other areas.

A friend of mine bought a SICK condo in South Beach. Right on the water, boat slip, killer city and beach views, concierge, 3 bed, 4 baths, etc. - THE WORKS! He paid $750K. By contrast, that buys next to nothing here in NYC - it's basically your downpayment after borrowing from your 401(K), the bank, and eating tunafish everyday for 1 year.
