Clomid necessary while on TRT?

Doc script for around 120mg a week of cyp along with 300-400iu of HCG on the two days prior to injection. Have been on this for 5 years straight. 31 years old. Planning on children within the next few years. Doctor doesn't foresee any issues with fertility and said clomid isn't necessary at this time.

He is right? Would it be unnecessary to take clomid while on cyp with hcg?

Clomid will help kick in your HPTA, help your body start producing its own test.

If your doc knows their shit..and it seems like they might based off your dose and protocall...I'd listen to your doc

Are you saying the HCG with the test is a waste? Or that adding clomid to the hcg/test is a waste?

My doc swears by HCG with Test. I tried both and with HCG, i feel much better.

I think he was saying using clomid while on TRT is not money well spent.

TRT with Testosterone and HCG is very effective because you will not experience any testicular atrophy.

when you are taking Testosterone or HCG there is no reason for your pituitary gland to produce Gonadotropin like FSH or LH even when you are taking anti estrogens like tamoxifen or clomid
