i was gonna go through with a hair transplant in thailand. but what puts me off is the scars that it leaves in the back of the head. i seen pictures of after results they all have those dot scars in the back of their head. so you would need to keep your back hair long to hide it. back hair pictures after the surgery would be good. to see how bad it really is.
If it is done well that shouldn't be happening but there is always going to be some level of scarring it is surgery but to the average person it wouldn't be noticeable unless it was badly done. The only reasons for that to happen is, use of large punches during extraction, over harvesting of the donor or the extraction pattern is poor which are all doctor errors. So much of this can be avoided by picking a good doctor, the only thing that may affect the healing and end result that the doctor is unrelated to is your own physiology, if you're a poor healer in general that can affect the scarring. If you're prone to keloid scars for example, you're more likely to heal with visible scarring than somebody who has had never shown signs of that. There are only a couple good docs in Thailand and they wouldn't be among the elite options out there and only one of the 2 is adept at fue, the other is mostly an fut specialist so be very careful in who you go to out there, i've seen some sloppy work out of that region.
