Check My Math Please

The bottle I was using says 3 mg/ml, inject 1.5 ml (15 units)/day. This is with using a 1 ml insulin syringe (100 units).
1 mg = 1000 mcg. Since this has 3 mg/ml, there would be 3000 mcg in my 1 ml syringe.. every 5 units being 150 mcg.
Since I take 15 units, my dosage is 450 mcg.

As long as that is correct, my next step is reducing that dosage by 8 times.
450 mcg/8 = 56.25 mcg or 15 units/8 =1.88 units. I'm just assuming you can figure it out either of those ways.
Since each marking on a 1 ml (100 unit) syringe goes by two, would this dosage be right below the very first marking?

I've always been given my exact instructions, so I've never had to figure it out before. I just want to make sure this is all correct. Thanks!

Your math is correct!
I would use 30 iu syringes instead of 100ius if I were you though! Just to be even more precise!

That's a great idea. Especially for that tiny dosage. I just put it in a 50 iu syringe and could barely see it.
