From what I have heard, although I could be wrong, Dorian didn't really take advice from Paul. He listened to what he had to say, but never agreed with his principles.
Paul was certainly a thinker, but said some weird things that made little sense. I found his stuff interesting, but some comments were just off the wall, such as when he said test enth was a great muscle builder, but test cyp was shit. Of course, he provided no explanation for this opinion--just stated it matter of factly.
We have learned a lot since Paul's day. Much of what Paul said has never been substantiated, while some of his other beliefs were flat-out misguided. Still, many people were fascinated with his writings and ideas.
