Knowing when to up the dose

So more of a general question than me specific as I saw how chase irons progressed his cycle on his YouTube

He went from 375 test and 150mg primo to 3500mg test and 1400mg mast within about 4 months which seems quite the increase plus his GH and other bits

So my question is how do you guys decide to up the dose?

Do you do it meticulously somewhat like vigorous Steve suggests which is push the food as much as you can and then training and then if everything stalls eventually up the dose

Do you do it on a timeline say 100mg every 4 weeks for example?

if youre quite new to it all and the scale stops moving and you’re maxing out all other variables then that makes sense but how about the more advanced guys who may stay around the same off-season weight but try to make that weight better (recomp etc) like guys that get between 270-300lbs that’s probably going to be your forever offseason weight but that look composition wise could look dramatically different over the years so for you guys who don’t go off the scale how do you look to increase the dose and by how much

there is no philosophy here - you take a given dose as long as you have results - if the growth ends (assuming that training, diet, regeneration, health, etc. are in place), increase the dose by 20-25% and continue growing
would you measure growth by visual, gym performance and maybe tape measure over actual scale weight if that is no longer a variable you opt to use?

Is that 20-25% of an individual compound within a multi compound cycle or overall dosage of the cycle? (Example 20% of 750mg of test in a 2g cycle or 20% of the 2g cycle)

chase up his AAS dose because he up his GH game to 18iu and to get the most benefit of HGH, he needs to up the AAS
that is whar he said :)
 
Think I recall vigorous Steve saying 250mg per 1iu gh as a guide

You're asking how to assess progress... after all, you probably know whether you're progressing in the gym, whether you're growing, looking better, or maybe it's completely the other way around - everyone can see whether you're moving forward or not.

It is also logical that if you take 500mg of anabolics a week and increase it to 600mg, it will be a significant increase, but if you take 3000mg, the additional 100mg will have absolutely no significance and you need to increase the dose much more to have any noticeable effect.

There's really nothing complicated here that you need to think too much about
 
Classic over thinking and hamstering of the mind. You don’t need anymore bodybuilding knowledge you just need to stay relatively healthy and continue doing what you’re doing, obviously cutting to single digits would create the optimal environment to rebound in size, so If progress has stalled bulking - you can always change direction.

I agree with this, if everything is covered. You up the calories and are getting fat up gear 20-25%

Genuine question may seem a stupid one to you but genuine nonetheless
There is no scientific or set answer on this. Most people up the dosage way too soon IMO when it’s really calories they need to be increasing.

Go off of blood work is my best answer. If you have high free and total test on 750mg of test, why would you bump it to 1000mg…

If you want a general rule or thumb- make no more than 10% changes. Believe @luki7788 has said this on here.

But in your case- your coach will tell you when to change the dosage, if needed. Trust his process.

Last week you were on here asking about orals for PR’s, you were leaning towards Anavar and see in your latest cycle you’re now doing anadrol.

Consistency, food and training are what makes the progress in this sport. Trust the process and your coach.

And I mean this all in a positive way as you’re way ahead of most on here with your physique. 😊
 
“X” amount of hormones and “Y” amount of nutrients supports “Z” amount of muscle.

when you stall adding size , increase food and drugs

if you only increase 300mg total drugs and 500 calories then you will plateau sooner , requiring you to increase again , 1000mg and 2000 calories will probably allow you to make gains for a good while .

You can’t say 4 , 6 or 8 weeks is the best time to bump everything up because there are to many variables
