Let's see if we can get at least 25 ppl and at 20 each would make a nice 500 pot.
Also as racepicks said we can also see if any sponsors wanted to throw in anything for the winner as well. I thought that was a pretty cool idea too.

Also if this works out well maybe it will be something we can do every year.

If I may suggest you insert a deadline date?

Reason for that, a deadline would give us all enough time to allocate who will collect the funds and gives us a concrete number along with enough time to pick plays.

Also, have you thought on who will track?

The deadline does not mean to be in next week or anything but a concrete date will set some urgency for those who want in that may wait last second to commit.

Just a thought.

Gonna check the NFL schedule to see exact day regular season starts.
We should have 2 deadline.
1st deadline will be the cut-off day to enter
2nd deadline will be the time you have to get your entry fee to the collector/treasurer.

I don't have a problem keeping track of the picks. I was thinking I could p.m. my email Addy to the guys involved.
Have all picks be submitted in email to me by Saturday 1 or 2 pm east coast time.
Then. Could go thru the emails and make a post with everyone's picks by Sunday morning before the games start.
I'd like to have the picks posted by Sunday morning 10 to 11 am.
Also was thinking putting the pics in thru email that way there is no discrepancy as to who picked who cause I will be able to save the emails as oppose to using p.m.'s where there is a limit on how many you have then I would have to delete p.m to make room for more.
I'll go over the dates and post some deadlines in as bit I'm at work now.

OK guys to get this rolling and see if we have enough people to do this I am going to put a deadline on entry for this.
DEADLINE ENTRY FOR CONTEST WILL BE SEPTEMBER 1ST. 7PM EAST COAST TIME.

That way by Sept 1 we will know all of who is going to be in on this.
So again if you would like to be apart of the contest please post so in this thread by Sept 1st 7PM east coast time.

Second deadline will be to have your entry fee sent to the treasurer by Sept 10th.
(We have to vote on this as to who it will be to handle funds as we have not done that yet. If anyone knows a mod that would like to be apart of this please point them towards this thread, or if any mods see this and wouldn't mind volunteering to be the treasurer please post so. Other than that fellas if we can not get a mod we will have to take a vote on who the treasurer will be)

What we will do is start this contest with the first set of Sunday games which will be Sept 11th. We will exclude the Thursday night game Sept 8th.
I repeat the contest will start with the Sunday games on SEPT 11TH.

OK so cliff notes for this post.
DEADLINE TO ENTER SEPT 1ST (7PM EAST COAST TIME)

DEADLINE FOR TREASURER TO RECEIVE YOUR ENTRY FEE SEPT 10TH.
that way all funds will be received by the time the first games start the following day.

So let's decide on a treasurer very soon so we know who it will be before the 1st. That way it gives everyone from the 1st to the 10th to get their entry fee to that person.

And again if any mods reading this would like to be treasurer please let me know and if any of the members in this can reach out to any mods they know who may be interested. If in the end we can not find someone maybe we can take a vote on it I'll leave that up to you guys.
