Recommendations for parental control apps?

Hoping to find one where I can limit screen time as well as deactivate everything except for calling when the event presents itself.
Any of you guys have recs?

In iPhones you can set screen time, allow/deny applications, downloading, websites, etc. without another app. So far that is working for us but there are probably more robust options available.

I am a Verizon customer. I can do most of that in the admin section when I log in online. Verizon family.
Who do you use they should have tools.
Lot of 3rd party apps don't work and all they do is collect your data.

I have to say I don’t envy you guys raising kids in these times. My youngest is in her 20’s and really only caught the very beginning of the insanity that is out there now.
My wife wants a baby (she is younger) but I think I’d be scared shitless and clueless.

When at home I could use our router to limit use for them, but I haven't done it. So on the router software might be a choice for you at home.

If you have an iPhone you can use the family sharing. Can set controls and also limits etc.. and you have to approve of app downloads.

If not the the google family link works good as well. Basically the same thing.
