Tor Project Browser

Just came across this program that seems to automatically change proxies every few mins. Anyone here using it?

I had it and I think it stopped working for a while....think I need the updated version or something....Anyone have that and the step by step instructions on how to get it up and running so I can use it? Thanks in advance to whom ever can help!!

Question though....When I just go ahead and download the Tor Bundle like it says to do because it's the easiest route....that's all it says that needs to be done....However, if I simply go check my signature or anyone with the danasoft program in their sig., the IP address is showing the same....

What further steps to I need to do so that it's utilizing at least the proxy/Ip addy rotation etc.??

I'm a little lost...

Download their bundle browser. It's all set up and ready to go with tor public relays. No setup required. Just unzip.

If you wanna take it further, you can manually setup private relays, if your savvy. It's not that hard I can get you some private relays just PM me.

Make sure you are using their browser (tor) go to whatsmyip.org and compare to regular browser (safari/explorer/chrome/firefox)

Hey auto2385, that's what I did...Just downloaded their bundle browser...I didn't think I had anything left to do...You say, "Just unzip." How do I do that??

I checked IP and it's the same as it's been...no change from tor at all yet.

When you downloaded it where did you save it to ? You should be able to Just extract it and run.

Yes, once you extract the downloaded file you should see a file within called TorBrowser_en-US. Open this and the tor browser should launch automatically.

I downloaded the Bundle, extracted the file hit run. Before I knew it, a new window in firefox opened up and I was underground!!

Tor is a great tool, but don't mistake it for security. The creator of the Tor project has stated that all Tor does is make it difficult to trace your internet activity; it does NOT make you anonymous.
