Blood Results (not allowed to post in results section)

Sup brahs... pretty happy my liver and creatin levels are in the normal range which really surprised me..

However the doctor wants me to run follow up work for my TSH ..thyroid.

The initial results came back high "7" which means the thyroid is working slow.
the normal range for this lab is between .35-5.00

I have used t3 in the past but never t4. Just wondering what the hell this could be and what could have caused it.

Any comments or advise would be helpful thanks!

Were you on gear at the time time of the TSH test? Anabolics are known to suppress thyroid output.

low dose, and I was also on corticosteroids for my eye (had eye surgery)

Just read now that corticosteroids can surpress the gland!

thanks for the imput. Going to do another round of blood and get an ultrasound on my thyroid just to be safe.

I redid the TSH blood work to check it again and my doc had me run an ultrasound on my neck to make sure there were no lumps or noduels on the thyroid.

Anyone else go through this?

I know tren can mess with the thyroid some. Were u on tren?

I was but came off before the blood work was done.

Do you guys know if corticosteroids can mess with thyroid output?
