Psyllium Husk Fibre and Supps

Psyllium husk is the greatest thing on Earth for dropping heavenly turds, but will it block absorption of my other supps like fish oil, vitamin D, etc.? What about oral steroids?

I have read that it may blunt/reduce the effectiveness of any oral meds you may take so I always take it at least 2 hours before or after any supps.

yeah that's what I figured. Makes it hard to time around meals/orals etc.

I've taken sleepaides with it before, and it totally kept them from working. I assume it pushes it right out with the rest of the "shit" in you, and anything else you consume with it will have the same results.

Wow! Never heard this before... I have been mixing Metamucil into my 2.2lb jugs of protein for over a yr. now to make sure I get some fiber throughout the day. Hope it doesn't block protein absorption.
