i use an endo. If you get to an endo w/o a referral i would opt for that.

i use personal physician. Ten dollar copay on my insurance. only thing about my doc office, they are not as experienced drawing blood as a more skilled facility would be... ouch sometimes!!

i went to my reg doctor and the old prick didnt know anything about trt,so i went to an endo and got a script for test cyp and androgel......i would go to an endo!

I went directly to an endo. Couldn't believe how clueless he was. I told him about my most recent cycle prior to meeting with him, and he responded with "what doctor prescribed you all of that?", and followed with "well how could you possibly get it?" But he still gave no hesitation to putting me on hrt after seeing my bloodwork.

If you dont need a referal you could go straight to the ENDO.
Some feel more comfortable though asking there family doctor for help.

I went to a urologist originally. Rhey also deal with this subject. Walked out with a script for androgel. Originally my MD took a test showing me low but would do nothing about it as a was to muscular. And I was "natural" to that point. The urologist heard my symtoms and thought they were classic hence the script.

Mine wont. If I mention side effects he will try to lower my dose. It's seems to actually be cheaper to do that on your own.

I wrote my story about my last 6 months on PM. I'll sum it up. 2 primary care dr's and 1 endo. All symptoms of hypothyroidism, hypogonadism (or low T), and low IGF levels. Want to know what I was prescribed. A Z pack, ear drops, and celebrex. Go firgure. On my 7th appt. with the first dr I got androgel.
I don't believe it is working but we'll see next week.
I was pretty disappointed with all 3 of them and didn't even feel like finding another dr. I self treat myself besides the androgel and I think I found the problem.

from my experiance and people i know HCG is usually prescribed with test sorta like a protocol

yes it is checking your total testosterone and free testosterone, free being more important.

that is the problem. your doctor will see a very broad range that is "healthy" its somewhere between 250- 1100 on my docs refrence. free being between 35-155

which is a huge range and bullshit imo
